Jamal al-Badawi


Jamal Mohammad al-Badawi is a fugitive who is wanted in connection with the October 2000 attack on the USS Cole, a U.S. naval vessel moored at the time in the harbor of Aden, Republic of Yemen.

Jamal Mohammad al-Badawi is wanted in connection with the October 2000 attack on the USS Cole. He is a Yemeni native, with Saudi Arabian citizenship.

For the attack on the USS Cole and other acts, al-Badawi is charged with murder, conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction, providing material support for terrorist groups, and other crimes.

The United States is offering up to five million dollars for information leading to al-Badawi’s arrest. If you have information about this man, contact the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.

The U.S. guarantees that all reports will be investigated and the identity of all informants will be kept confidential. If appropriate, the U.S. is prepared to protect informants by relocating them.
