Plastic is the ocean’s silent killer. It injures, suffocates, entangles, drowns and starves hundreds of marine animals, many of which mistake plastics for food.
“We're very focused on improving access for smallholder farmers, in particular, who produce the majority of food on the continent of Africa,” said USAID Deputy Administrator Isobel Coleman.
