The United States wants "to ensure that countries in the Pacific have a choice and the ability to make their own sovereign decisions free from coercion,” said Assistant Secretary Kritenbrink.
The United States, Canada, France, Japan, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom, said they were “extremely concerned that Iran is considering transferring ballistic technology to Russia after having supplied the Russian regime with UAVs."
"We’ve seen in a number of instances where the People’s Republic of China has taken a number of steps in the South China Sea that both run counter to international law," said Assistant Secretary Kritenbrink.
“The threat posed to Syrians and the international community by Syria’s continuing non-compliance with the CWC and [UN Security] Council resolutions is alarming,” declared Ambassador Wood.
"Sweden embodies and promotes the core values that are at the heart of NATO: democracy, liberty, the rule of law," said Secretary Blinken.
"Since Secretary Austin announced this coalition in December, more than 20 countries have joined to increase maritime patrols in the Red Sea and safeguard commercial shipping," said Deputy Assistant Secretary Shapiro.
“Like Finland, which recently joined our Alliance, Sweden is a strong democracy with a highly capable military that shares our values and vision for the world,” said State Secretary Blinken.
"Rwanda and the DRC must walk back from the brink of war," said Ambassador Wood. "Parties to the conflict and regional actors should immediately resume the Nairobi and Luanda processes."
"Putin has been counting on dividing this alliance, but today we heard again total unity and a degree of intensity of that unity that has not flagged one bit," said National Security Advisor Sullivan.
"This commander was directly responsible for planning and participating in attacks on U.S. forces in the region," said State Deputy Spokesperson Patel.
“The focus here,” said Major General Ryder, “is disrupting and degrading their abilities to conduct these kinds of attacks.”
"NATO is advancing with a sense of urgency and a strong sense not only of unity of purpose, but unity of action," said Secretary Blinken.
