Punto De Vista 267: U.S. Engagement in the Western Hemisphere

During the recent week-long United Nations General Assembly in New York, most attention was focused on crises in parts of the world other than the Americas – the situation in Syria, the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya, the European debt crisis. Yet, as always, the United States remained deeply engaged with the nations of the Western Hemispehere.
