Drinking fluids during hot weather is important for your health. It’s best to drink clean water, milk, or fruit juice, to avoid dehydration.

Drinking alcohol will not help you, and can cause problems. Consuming a lot of beer, wine, or other alcoholic beverages, can leave a person dehydrated, confused, and susceptible to injury. The signs of dehydration, are dry lips and tongue, headache, or even dizziness. If fluids aren’t replaced quickly, heat stroke, or even heart problems, can follow. So make sure you drink a lot of fluids, especially clean water, but not a lot of alcohol.
