The United States and the G7 "strongly condemn the Rwanda-backed M23 offensive in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, and in particular, the capture of Minova, Saké and Goma."
"The Cuban regime has long supported acts of international terrorism. We call for the regime to end its support for terrorism," said Secretary Rubio.

“Their campaigns of violence and terror in the United States and internationally are extraordinarily violent, vicious, and similarly threaten the stability of the international order in the Western Hemisphere,” said President Trump.
“I expect every nation on earth to advance their national interests. And in those instances – and I hope there will be many – in which our national interests and theirs align, we look forward to working with them,” said Secretary Rubio.
“Terrorists only stand to benefit from the Council’s inaction, particularly since money continues to be the lifeblood of terrorists,” said Ambassador Shea.
“The Houthis are the primary impediment to greater international support and are jeopardizing the possibility of peace in Yemen,” said Ambassador Shea.
“For years we have heard unrelenting testimony of Russia’s shocking abuses and atrocities. We must not lose sight of how reprehensible and unacceptable they are,” said Ambassador Shea.
"So, the imperative is not to turn back the clock to the way things were before October 7th. It is to forge a new reality for the Middle East in which all people are more secure," said Secretary Blinken.
