"These attacks, including drone strikes, and now cluster munitions, have only increased in frequency these past few months," said Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield. "In just one day, Russia took out 2 gigawatts of power availability. That’s enough power for over a million and a half homes."
"It’s in the interest of the United States, it’s in the interest of Türkiye, it’s in the interests of the Syrian people, and all the countries in the region that ISIS not rear its head again," said State Spokesperson Miller.
“This new restriction defies logic and could represent a death sentence for Afghan women and girls in dire need of potentially lifesaving medical treatment,” said Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield.
“Last year, the United States was the largest provider of assistance to Sudan and neighboring countries,” said Ambassador Wood.
